Roofing: Lotz Renovations, Inc. Press release angies list 2011.pdf SIDING

Are you planning to reside your current home, today there are so many types of siding that are out there. You can choose from aluminum, cedar, composite, fiber cement, or vinyl siding for your home. Nothing gives a house more curb appeal than the new look of siding. Our design team will use a computer program to review the colors, styles, pattern and finishes that will make your house stand out from the rest of your neighbors. Not only can we install the siding but we have nature stone products to use as an accent.

Most  of our clients are choosing to go with an insulated vinyl siding , a couple of reasons for this choice is it is 300% more impact resistant compared to regular vinyl siding, maintenance free, and  adding additional R value to the house.  Aluminum is the least likely to be installed in this area due to the hail storms and the damage aluminum receives from these storms. Fiber cement is a good product; this is the most expensive of the siding and the dust when cutting it is caustic. Cedar siding is nice: but you need to paint it every 7-10 years.

Lotz Renovations, Inc uses only the finest products out there like Alside Prodigy, James Hardi siding, and Crane siding. We also recommend using Tyvek house wrap prior to installation of any siding that you may choose. The houses wrap acts like a wind breaker for your home. The house wrap is a breathable product that many towns are now requiring. As far as the insulation used for the vinyl siding, Fullback insulation is the premier supplier for most vinyl manufactures.  The insulation foam resists mold and mildew which could create havoc on your home and be a source for rotting. The average house produces 4 to 6 gallons of water each day through activities like showering and cooking. Fullback insulation has a perm rating of 5.0, which is the most breathable insulation product on the market today.

Homeowners have so many choices and Lotz Renovations, Inc is here to educate them on the benefits and pitfalls of each type of siding.  Our design team will listen to what you want and will provide you with a detailed contract with what you requested.  Our goal is to make our clients feel they have received the best service, best product, and the best value for their dollar. Recent projects completed are in Bartlett, Carol Stream, Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, St. Charles, and many other towns.
